Neighbors in Need
Special Mission Offering
The Neighbors in Need offering supports ministries of justice and compassion, with one-third of the offering given to the Council for American Indian Ministries and the remaining two-thirds supporting UCC justice ministries.
The NIN special offering envelopes are located in the narthex. Please make checks payable to Vine with “NIN” in the memo line. Contributions may be made any time during October. Thank you for supporting Neighbors in Need!

New Membership Class
Are you thinking about becoming a member of Vine? Are you a current member and would like to refresh your understanding or reaffirm your membership? Our membership class is designed to help you become better acquainted with Vine, our values and beliefs, and our relationship to the United Church of Christ. This is an informal class led by Pastor Steven.

Blessing of the Pets
We invite you to bring your family pet(s) for a special blessing. All of God’s creatures are welcome, so bring your furry, fuzzy, feathered, scaled, or any pet that you include as a member of the family. Pictures of pets and stuffed animals are also welcome.
Invite your friends and neighbors to be a part of this special blessing. Please be sure that animals are leashed or in carriers.

Pledge Sunday
Our stewardship theme, Dreaming God’s Dream, encourages us to imagine how a pledge can help our church move from dreaming about helping to realizing God’s dream?
Please plan to join us for Pledge Sunday with your 2026 stewardship pledge form. Returning your pledge card connects you to the mission and ministry of our congregation to our neighbors, near and far.
God’s amazing work begins with our small gifts.

Confirmation Group Pizza Party
Join us for a pizza party! Come, have a slice of pizza, and join us as we have fun setting up for the children’s Halloween party. All students in grade 6 - grade 12 are invited and welcome. Please be sure to bring a costume to wear during the party!

Children's Halloween Party
Join us for ghoulish good fun!
All our young friends (children through grade 5) and their family and friends are invited to join us for treats, games, crafts, and ghoulish good fun! Children are encouraged to wear a costume. Parents are welcome to come in costume too! This party is sponsored by the confirmation class. Please join us ~ we have a great party planned.

Third Tuesday Each Month
Men's Breakfast
Men’s Breakfast meets every third Tuesday of the month at 8:00 am at the Village Inn (48th & Van Dorn). All Vine men are invited to enjoy a meal and fellowship.
Every Thursday Morning
Ladies Coffee Talk
On Thursday mornings at 9:30 am, the ladies of Vine are invited to bring a beverage and come visit together at the church. There is no agenda just conversation.
Third Sunday Each Month
Lunch after Church
We gather on the third Sunday of the month following the worship service at approximately 11:30 am for lunch and fellowship.
