YOUth Group

Students grade 6 - 12

Vine’s YOUth Group enjoy a variety of opportunities to be involved at Vine. They contribute by volunteering for events and activities. Throughout the year, our youth sponsor activities for the congregation, share their musical talents, study Bible stories, create and perform Bible skits during worship, develop and support mission projects, and participate in our yearly Christmas pageant. Our youth are enthusiastic to share their talents and time at Vine.

Mission Opportunities

Mission is a big part of our YOUth Group. Each year, our students plan and participate in 1-2 mission projects that serve a variety of organizations locally and globally.

YOUth Group meets from September – May (with occasional holiday breaks)

9:30 am – 10:20 am

Confirmation Class

Grade 8

Students in grade 8 will be immersed in a study of the Bible and how God envisions the world around them and acceptance for everyone, the history of the United Church of Christ, background about Vine and what we believe, and how the Christian calendar of the year compares to our regular calendar. This class is guided by our pastor and a lay person.
